Cody Wilson

Surrounded by art a young age, with his mother a painter and his father a comic artist who has worked on renown projects such as Star Wars and Judge Dread, Cody was always destined to be an artist. After bouncing around doing odd jobs and never completing his degree in Paramedics, Cody decided to become serious in his pursuit for a career in art in 2013 and dedicate his time to drawing, charcoal work and oil paintings.

In 2015 he was given the opportunity for a tattoo apprenticeship at Living Canvas Tattoos in Eltham. Since then, Cody has had the opportunity to tattoo all across Australia and the world. Whether it is in Paris, London or Melbourne, Cody is up for any style of tattoo, however lately he has specialised in large scale black and grey realism work. He enjoys working with clients to plan out whole sleeves to put together a timeless art piece. Cody’s favourite images to tattoo are portraits, but there is nothing better than have a client come up with a unique, imaginative theme for him to work on.

His life outside tattoos is pretty much non-existent, but when he does get some time away he’ll be socialising with his friends, staying active and gambling his life savings away playing poker.
