‘Gi’ - a handpoke tattoo artist from London. 

‘I believe you grow the most as a person when out of your comfort zone, so recently moved to the other side of the world, residing in my new home in Melbourne.’

Starting in the tattoo industry at 17 years young! Began as a professional body piercer & later trained as a tattoo removal laser tech. Eventually teaching myself the hand poke tattoo method after realising that I preferred it to using a machine. Handpoking for me is pretty sacred, I find it a much more intimate way to tattoo, no noise from a machine, less trauma to the skin & creating permanent artwork dot by dot - all by hand. It’s of course a much slower process (hence the name) but I’m pretty speedy these days. My favourite things to tattoo are ornamental, fineline, floral designs. I like the use of grey wash in my dotwork also to create a very soft healed result. Specialising in placements like, ears, palms, fingers & more intimate areas. 

After a decade in the industry, I’ve been very lucky to build up a beautiful client base in the UK & Europe, blessed to travel to create art for people. Now it’s my time to make a name for myself down-under!
