FAQs

What counts as an illustrative tattoo?

Think of it as a drawing or illustration made into a tattoo, more free and artistic than a set style. It can be sketchy, painterly, storybook, surreal, colour or black. If you can picture it drawn, we can probably tattoo it.

Can I bring my own idea or rough sketch?

Please do. The more we know about what's in your head, the better. Your artist takes it and turns it into a finished, tattoo-ready illustration.

Will it be totally original?

Yes. We don't copy other people's tattoos. Every illustrative piece is drawn from scratch for you.

Colour or black?

Whatever suits the idea. Some illustrative work sings in colour, some is stronger in black and grey. Your artist will guide you.

How long does it take?

Depends on the detail. Small pieces can be one sit; bigger, more involved illustrations may run across sessions. We'll map it with your quote.

Do I need a deposit?

Yes, a small deposit confirms your booking and is deducted from your final price.

Where are you?

We're in Fitzroy, Melbourne, a bright gallery studio near Johnston and Brunswick Streets.
